Seenary vs Winnie

Two AI planners made for India. Where they are alike, and where they are not.

Winnie (trywinnie.com) calls itself "the free AI trip planner for India": a chat that writes a day-by-day plan with costs in rupees, trains, stays and hidden gems, for trips inside India only. Seenary is India-first too, and also plans trips anywhere; its days are computed by an engine rather than written by the chat, and it travels with you in the app.

WhatSeenaryWinnie
How the plan is madeA short blueprint in a conversation; the itinerary is computed by Seenary's engine from stored facts (real places, opening hours, drive times). The AI writes descriptions only."Curate, save and refine your India trip in one warm, friendly chat": the plan is written in the chat from your vibe, budget and pace.
Times and distancesEvery stop has a clock time; drives measured on road data where it is on record, said to be estimates where not; a plan that cannot keep its own rules is reported as partial, never padded."Real costs, real times"; how the times are computed is not stated.
CostsA budget estimator gives a planning range from Seenary's own registers; never a quote. Seenary does not book."Real INR costs across trains, flights, stays and experiences", flagged where a splurge is worth it.
CoverageIndia in depth (327 destinations with written guides) and the rest of the world (689 destinations).India only: "from Ladakh to Kanyakumari".
Offline and in-tripIn the app: an offline map pack with road directions, an emergency radar, a sign scanner, a voice translator, trip checks before departure. Not stated.
AccountPlanning without an account on the web; keeping, sharing or exporting a trip needs one."No login wall" (stated in its comparison with Mindtrip).
Price (as read on 22 Oct 2026)Planning is free: three itineraries a month. Trip Pass ₹149 / $7 for one trip's toolkit; Plus and Pro subscriptions.Free; "in beta".
PlatformsWeb, Android, iOS.Web; an app is not stated.
Sharing with othersEditors, suggesters and viewers on a trip; public view-only links; community routes and stories. Not stated.

When Winnie is the better choice

When you want a conversational first draft of an India trip with rupee costs in the same breath, with nothing to sign in to, and you will do the day-to-day on the ground with your own maps. Its traveller-type defaults (honeymoons, families, solo female, NRIs) are a quick way to a plan shaped for you.

When Seenary is the better choice

When you want the days timed and checked rather than written, when the trip leaves India, when a child's age, a diet or a walking limit must hold in every day, and when you want the map, the directions and the emergency places on the phone with no signal.

Winnie is an independent product and is not affiliated with Seenary. If something above about Winnie is out of date, tell us and it will be corrected.
